Office relocation and moving requires a high level of organization, specialized moving equipment, and a fast efficient moving team. Ace Moving and Storage insures this criteria is met each and every time.

Organization of Relocation

Our moving consultants determine the individual requirements of each company and can create a schedule that is custom tailored. We recommend appointing one office member to be "the facilitator" for the move. A floor plan for each office should be designed and posted on the door at each new office. Each piece of furniture should be labeled to indicate which office it belongs to.

Assigning Tasks

Ace Moving and Storage increases the efficiency of office moves by splitting up tasks and by using large numbers of dollies. Generally one crew is in the office loading elevators while another crew remains on ground level loading the trucks. Often a separate crew is in transit or unloading at the new location. All furniture remains on dollies even in the truck to speed up loading and unloading time.

It is up to the assigned move facilitator to accomplish the following tasks:

  • To establish how each office member would like their offices set up.
  • To ensure that each office is packed and furniture labeled.
  • To ensure that elevators are booked and elevator keys obtained before the move begins.
  • To ensure that computers and other electronics are dismantled and ready to be moved.
  • To ensure that loading dock is free and clear at both ends on the day of the move.
